sox Posted October 14, 2012 Report Share Posted October 14, 2012 advice please could you use the rain water from a water butt for the pigeons to drink ? it do s come from the roof , but filters through a filter sock , witch catch s all debri , but concerned about any baccteria etc, witch will be in it !can it be sterilized ? and what could you use !! thanks. sox Posted October 15, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 15, 2012 i use tap water in the drinkers but when the doos are out in yard they go over to me water butt & drink the dropplets coming of the butts tap lol -- i always use rain water in baths for them - any one who handled them always say how soft they feel doos not the water butts by the way i also use rain water for there baths with a tsaspoon of virkon s in it ! they are soft feathering , Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
