Nettles

boiled up some nettles again this weekend will give the birds it,this is the second week and they seem to like it.

Used to use it for 14 days prior to every racing season, the down would fall very well, we haven't used it for a good few years now, first came across it in the julez Gonzalez books 101 methods.

I used to brew it on a saturday and give it to the widowhood cocks on a sunday,also I added a few garlic cloves.I use Naturaline now but still add the garlic.

Never used it on the pigeons but can remember falling into jaggy nettles when i was younger they stung like hell :crying:
