alex wight Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Posted August 19, 2012 Very very very poor turn out at fife fed late bred sale well done to the boys that were there they r the true backbone of the fed lets c donations from the boys that were not there :( got to agree with you there Davie, very disappointing, credit to the organizers, donators, and buyers. It would be nice to see EVERY fed member make a donation to the fed towards the transporter that they use on a weekly basis. Whether it be buying a pigeon or donating money. If every member donated £20 we would make in the region of £2500, i think it should be compulsory. I think it should be a proposal for the next agm????

sapper756 Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 I had no late breds to offer, how ever I did put up a youngster for the initial Fife Fed young bird sale earlier this year, and I was told it was not needed, so I can,t see how you can accuse people of not making the efforthttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif if my youngster was not good enough for the initial sale, I can,t see how you would be interested in a late bred, even if I had one. Guest vice president Posted August 19, 2012 Report Posted August 19, 2012 you should not ask for donations from any member it should be up to them to do it :animatedpigeons:

JMO There was only ever going to be 30 birds up for sale for the young birds, so some people who wanted to donate were turned down, nothing to do with quality or who you were, it was merely to keep the numbers down. I know you have done your bit in the past Brian, which is always appreciated, i just wish keeping the fed afloat was spread across the members equally and not to be relying on the same people time and time again. Jock Scott you are right that we shouldnt have to force people, but why does 80% of the fed expect this fed to run without finances. All we ask for is better support at things that are arranging to help us. Surely thats not too much to ask is it????? regards alex (senior vice president).
