JohnQuinn Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Nice birds there, especially the Ch W/f. Yer garden is 10x tidier than mine too
The White Rapido Man Posted August 1, 2012 Author Report Posted August 1, 2012 Lol....... He's bred out of a line from Frank Taskers Film Star.....and is a feather legged chap. Hes trained well, wel see what happenss when racing starts.
Guest Dorset-lad Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Very nice birds, my choice like John CH/WF
Wiley Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 My choice is the cheq pied, but then again the Taskers have been the pigeons I've been working with for the past 8 years. Has this particular pigeon been inbred?

Has this particular pigeon been inbred? Yes Wiley......I was lucky enough to be lent a few pairs from Mr. Taskers Filmstar and Piedy boy lines from an excellent stockman. ttthese birds appear to have done alot of damage locally. I am however new to the sport and names dont impress me, but these have produced some handsome specimens, but the proof will be in the racing though ;-)
Wiley Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 You won't go far wrong with the filmstar lines! All my best breeders are grandchildren of Filmstar.

billt Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 My choice is the cheq pied, but then again the Taskers have been the pigeons I've been working with for the past 8 years. Has this particular pigeon been inbred? Was it the amount of white feathering that made you suspect in-breeding?
Wiley Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Was it the amount of white feathering that made you suspect in-breeding? No Bill, I'd say I know the family of birds very very well, and I've never came across in my loft or in Franks a feathered Leg, I once inbred back to the filmstar and had a few frills, Frank too my knowledge never had these either,
