Hi I joined this site a week ago and have been looking at some of the older posts and have found the info invaluble. 18 months ago my wife brought 2 quail in a petshop because she heard someone joking about eating them. Little did we know where that would take us. I know have a avery with some parakeets and budgies in and another with 2 pairs of old dutch capuchine and a pair of west of england rollers. I aquired the pigeons last week. I have now decided that they would be more suited to a proper loft even if it is small. so tomorrow I am going to start converting one of my garden sheds. I saw a cracking pic of a identical shed that had been converted. I plan to have a avery front to it. I'm quite handy so I don't think it witt be dificult and I already have most of the mateirials.

I would like to join a club but there don't seem to be any near me, Hastings in East Sussex. :o
