Walter swanston Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Unikon updated again today 2nd.April 2012
Henrik Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Is this an update for the clocks or for the race manager software?
The Grass Cutter Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Unikon updates - It should be noted that there were "no security issues" with the previous versions. This update was solely for the purpose to facilitate the NEHU Z Five Digit Ring. It appears that this will not effect Scottish Unikon users. Therefore there is no need to update either the Unikon Professional or Champ pocket Clocks. What you can do is download the Unikon Manager Update if you want to register Polish rings.

The Grass Cutter Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 do you know if you can update without the time signal working, because ive tried several times without successSet up your Club Equipment as usual. The base unit will give you the option - "C:Set Manually" Press C and use option 1 and set base unit to correct date and time or if it is showing the correct date and time, use option 2 "use current time".
JADE Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 there is a profi update dated 30th march on the website. is that for the same reason?
jake12 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 do you know if you can update without the time signal working, because ive tried several times without successThe reason that was given to me concerning the Professional (PROFI) upgrade was a small error that meant you could not enter the 2012 rings. This issue was raised earlier on this site i`m sure.Anyway after downloading the (PROFI) upgrade from the Unikon site I had no bother with 2012 rings and the Club is ready to go in a couple of weeks. Hope this helps, good luck. J12

I would like to ask all clubs that use Unikon in Aberdeen Fed and North of Scotland Fed to download this update.I don't want a fiasco like we did a couple of years ago at the SNFC marking when a clock was put into the base station that had an update on it that no one else had and we had to wait for all other clocks to update. This cost us a hour in time and held up the transporter. Thanks Willie Davidson
JADE Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Should Unikon not inform all clubs if there is an update.
PIGEON_MAN Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Should Unikon not inform all clubs if there is an update. In a ideal word that would be great, but I think the vast majority find out by word and mouth and of course off Pigeonbasics.
