alex wight Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 maybe if something was actually done with the signatures, it would attract more. It doesn't matter how hard you shout, nothing is done by the unions. Its high time there was a joint union from the 4 uk countries to push the cause. If fanciers seen more action from our own side, i think it would be a different story. Until then we do what we know works.............
geordie1234 Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 What does the signatures actually do? Have they not being doing this for years? Alex my thoughts exactly lol

Until then we do what we know works............. good post mate just a lot of flag waveing, you cant take this issue head on because if you lose you have nowhere to go,i think we should start with several proposals, such as no new artificial nest sites to be built on race routes and if possible to work towards some artificial nest sites to be relocated over a period of time, due to the large increase in the peregrine population they should be allowed to find there own level .i put a post on here a few months back about birds in cyprus been shot in the millions, our birds which will not come back to our shores but not one pigeon man signed it,if the raptor alliance took signature for this and save our song birds i think taking signature for all three would make us a lot more friends would show the rspb that its just not racing pigeons we are after saving and give us a lot more clout and a louder voice when this day comes, because the peregrine has a lot more friends than the pigeon fancier at this moment in time and if you think a law will be past to cull bop i am sorry but you are dreaming,
