Well now the ‘Silly Selfish Season’ is here, where many put up stupid, and nigh always selfish things to gain a march! Why don’t we start a thread here? Save them thinking too hard as they obviously do have a job thinking, and that’s for sure.

Like ‘Let’s ban any clock that is Not a T3 or Et.

Then ALL T3’S to become obsolete within 18 months.

If a second one is needed for Nationals etc. whereby one must use a Manual, let’s all Lobby for these to be HIRED by the Concern running the race for, say just £25 a time.

This will of course put money into their coffers and make  - for some reason whatever – better racing. I.e. So only those able to, who can easily afford will race, those that can’t will still be putting a bit of money in to the ‘Better positioned and more affable’ pockets.

We can always conn them into think that A. they don’t try hard enough, and B. then sell our culls as their birds aren’t good enough.

Perhaps as a special consensus those that can’t afford £25 are allowed to enter, but only as  â€˜Trainers’ and some sport to see how they would have fared if only ...

Why not cut down the marking stations to save money – I thing that’s a good excuse whether it does or not – and have those able to lay on transport at cost, plus a little drinkie or two!

Sections of course are suitably placed for those in the right Location, but lets do away with at least 50% of them and put more money still into the more fortunate coffers.

The ‘Masses’ may moan a bit and several pack up of course, then again we are used to them moan in futileness so what the heck.

But you know, they would have sooner or later any way, and it won’t affect those in the ‘Positioned’ site at all as the extra money from where the old sections were will bring in more money to their elbow.

I also propose that every one has to pay an extra £2 – only- for the winner – in case they haven’t pooled right the way through.

So please feel free to add your’ ideas of how to skin the masses in good taste. After all it is nothing new.  Especially how to squeeze the Grass roots and bit more and take a little more undeserved cash out of their pockets that they can ill afford.

Also lets have a bit more openness here. Make easier for the rank and file to lick the backsides of the More affluent without losing too much face. After all we all know that those not very good have a strange fetish of praising them as if some magic will rub of onto them…. geeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Roland, I guess you've experienced of this type of thing happening in the past. Care to share any examples that sneaked through against the majorities wishes or maybe an example where one got defeated but plainly showed the selfish nature of the person/s that put the proposition forward.

Just one for starters Tony since you asked. They extended, the NRCC the radius from Near Sutton Coalville to take in the Whole of Norfolk.

Of course this suited many more than those of us which it didn’t, hence it was passed. Thus this meant giving way over 150 miles to the boys of the East Coast....  When 85% left they rescinded.  But a mite too late for now there are just 7 left in the Northants Fed that fly with the NRCC, whereas nigh everyone did. Now our Fed, and Amalgamation is planning / debating for the NRCC to transport our birds to the longer races again like they used to will better sections. So some may rejoin, whereas others may just say Bog Off and turn South Rd. This of course would mean both feet being shot into. Though one must remember the NFC tried to do exactly the same with our section, it was strongly opposed THEN. Maybe what happened to the NRCC put a block on that? Who knows?
