dal2 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Who in your area do you beleive are winning well against the Odds at Club/Fed and National Level and have they helped you to improve your own standards. Any fed ticket taken by anybody north of Lockerbie in the solway fed is an excellent achievement IMO!
Williedoo Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 In my own club I always want to beat Alex Rae.Last year I was only infront of him once O/B&Y/B Fed/Club racing although I did manage it twice in the SNFC.Considering he has no stock birds and usually winter around 30 in total his achievements in Club and Fed last year were remarkable. We train our birds together taking them time about, 3 days a weak,so our training is exactly the same.Alex is always telling me my birds are carrying too much weight at the beginning of the season so this winter I am trying to do something about this.Time will tell but hopefully I will do a bit better this year after following his advice.
harky Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 King Billy and Aldo have won well in Newmains over the last fiew years against the odds.
