I joined a few days ago but im moving house so wasn't able to get on,

anyway im Robert, im 18 and im in east lothian,

I just got some bird a few weeks ago, went to get two white doves but ended up with 3 doves 2 baby feral pigeons and 4 other pigeons of somesort,

Here is a photo of some of them when I first got them, looking a bit scruffy, i've named the brown one Luca, I think the one on the right is a tumbler, (he said one of them was but cant remember which),and I have named it tumbles.

4 pigeons and 2 of the doves in the photo, or at least thats what I think,

whats the difference in doves and pigeons?, I only know what he said thay where.

Are you planning on keeping and racing pigeons?

I don't really know what is involved in racing,

I've seen a big flock of mixed birds as i've been walking about the place, and a smaller flock flies right over my house, those are brown large looking with big throats.

I was thinking of going to gladsmuir club if thats still on,

not sure what goes on there but hopefully will learn something about the birds and boost my confidence a bit as im really shy,

will also need to get a planning permission for a shed for the birds then get one for them,

we have a shed at the old house but no one can move it for us so we're trying to sell that and get a smaller one,
