Guest mick bowler Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 If the eco mode light active light on check that your coolants are filled up ok (and not frozen), and also check oil, this is a fail safe against low levels of the same. If they ok could be sensor fault.
Guest karl adams Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 if there is no antifreeze in the water the engine may be froze j m o
PIGEON_MAN Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Had peugeots for years mainly 405-406s from new if it says eco mode its like a battery saving mode, and the clicking sounds as if its the starter cellonoid, charge the battery up should be no probs.
Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 cheers guys have done a number of the above things mentioned today with no prevail i have a diagnostic machine here i have plugged it in and i get no error codes. After reading on the forums it could be some many things i think i will have to shell out to get it done thanks again guys

Guest bigda Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 try a heater or a hair dryer on the immobilizer unit if you can run a extension cable to it check all the fuses check the battery should read 12+50 13+50 if in good nick also the fuel line is a petrol or diesel put the hairdryer on the solenoid at the starter motor all these would need checked first
