chris h Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 i had one 2002 model.mountain of problems with it including new engine and gearbox at 64000 miles.wouldnt have another.buy a landrover
Guest mick bowler Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 dont dissagree but what about the feuel ??mick Frank for a big 4x4 workhorse the mpg (IMO) is very good, around 30. I had a 2.0L Hyundai, would'nt pull sh** and averaged 25 ish. My transporter van only did around 25-30 too and cost a packet to service.
Guest frank dooman Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 get yourself a good we van thats the berries peugeot partner or the likes cant go wrong vince
Guest mick bowler Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 i had one 2002 model.mountain of problems with it including new engine and gearbox at 64000 miles.wouldnt have another.buy a landrover Chris its a fact that Mitsubishi are the most reliable motors and Land rover the least! My days of Landies (except classics) are well gone. A 2.5td Discovery blown engine at 17 months old and 30,000 miles, cost £5000 for new lump and landrover contributed nowt!!
Guest mick bowler Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 get yourself a good we van thats the berries peugeot partner or the likes cant go wrong vince Good vans Frank, have a PP now got it dirt cheap, does 45 mpg and goes well, but bit small for me.
Guest frank dooman Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 mine was alot less than that mick hard to say exactly how much i didnt drive it but i did pay the feuel bill and it jumped right out at me
Guest mick bowler Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Frank was it the 1.9 d (non-turbo)? They are brutal, mine is the 2.0 hdi. They reckon the new 1.6 hdi does 50+ mpg.
