giddypigeon Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Sorry to hear Mike is packing pigeon racing due to work commitments and family reasons I personally know he has spent hundreds of pounds on the very best lines in pigeons. Direct from the herbots and many other top quality flyers is total stock, stock lofts are going I now he spent over £7K on his petron loft all for sale and going. Many of his birds are section winners, federation winners the 2008 British Homing World Middle Distance pigeon he named Drogba will be in the sale its a shame to see this quality of flyer walking away from the sport. Top flyers in the Rhondda Valley Fed in 08 the season they had their full racing team attacked and killed at their racing lofts with a record of points that has not been matched or i think will never be broken. Rebuilt their racing team from scratch from their fabulous stock and once again setting club and feds alight with the 3rd Hotspot race won this year at RPRA one loft race Sale is in November in Newport by auctioneer John Burgham I now I be there after them but Mike I am sorry to see you go from our sport

A nice gent with a wealth of practical expierence ... from when I have converse with him. Yes, this sport can well do not to lose as such. I know when he was in our fed furthest flying loft and pulling top 5 in section weekly or there or then about kidd cooke and baker must have been sick of the surnam and flying some 20 miles further then concentrate on Rhondda Valley fed in 2008 become fed champions with record points then had loft broken into and had their full racing team killed. This season top back full swing top flyer Tonyrefail and runner up Penygraig con only flying old birds some doing in to different routes and feds when work and family commitments and rebuilding the racing team. I b looking at adding some of these lines

He couldnt praise them enough when they were Rhondda Valley Fed Champions they done it with a 30 bird limit. Also done the double of being fed and overseas in 1 season Overseas Champions 2004 and Overseas Champions 2008 Rhondda Valley Fed Old bird Champions 2006, 2007 and 2008 plus the double never been achived before ended after this due to birds killed so dont think they would have lost the other seasons either. Also telling me this year Mike joined Tonyrefail Club South Rd first time ever flying this route what is remarkable is Club Champions Old and Young and their is 6 National Winners in the club shows the calibre of birds Mike has Im going to buy some of the MAGIC and introduce to my stock loft.

Their be 2 lofts for sale 1 Petron and 1 other shed I am also selling after the auction but waiting for confirmation off basics if I can post on hear with photos. Once again I wish everyone all the best in the coming seasons in the sport I love but family commitments had to come first and its been one of the hardest decisions ive made.
