Just off the phone to a m8 of mine to see if he has got his bird that was collected on Monday. "Nothing"

Just gave him the bad news and advised him to get in touch with the SHU for advice. Bird will either be

sitting in the Livingston or East Kilbride Depo.

 

How many more birds will be sitting in their Depos?

Had a bird uplifted from SPDA on Tuesday approx 10am from West Lothian going to Stranraer. The Fancier phones me today at 2pm asking where the bird is as he has tried to phone SPDA all morning. I then phoned ALL 5 branches in Scotland and 1 in England ALL extension numbers that were humanly possible for 3 solid hours nonstop one right after another and NEVER EVER got one single person to speak to anyone and now feel bad about it. Can anyone throw any light what hours they work or anything else that will help please.

M8 of mine had one of his pigeons collected on Monday. "Not delivered by Tues" He was in contact with the SHU on the Wed and

was advised to contact the SPCA as he feared the bird must still be in the depo. The SPCA sent an inspector round to SPDS

Livingston and Glasgow depo's to see what they could find out. Not sure what the out come was with the visit but the pigeon

arrived home this morning.

I knew by the sounds of things birds would still be in there depots this is a terrible state of affairs be poor birds in boxes either in depots or in Vans with no food and water and no way of getting them to there destinations or back to original owners can't believe they were still picking up when they knew this was happening :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang: hope you get it sorted Davy

Well Done Davy , hope they ensure all vans if any there and premises are bird free , hate to think any birds have suffered because this courier decided just to continue with the knowledge they were going in to liquidation . Also feel sorry for drivers been out of work .

completely agree with ya , they knowingly collected / let drivers collect with full knowledge birds would be stranded and made to suffer by there actions , hope they get prosecuted for there actions !!!!

I am up at spds the doors are locked both back and front there is a sign on the door saying the receivers have taken over and will contact creditors in due course

I went in through a space in the fence there is no way into the building
