DOH!! Had a really bad cock up today, basically i noticed a pigeon had something on its wattle, looked like droppings, and i tried to wash it off with my finger, now the wattle looks a right state, something that was hardly noticeable to nearly full wattle coverage, question is, how long does it take for a wattle to return back to white if the bird is in good shape??

Give the pigeon access to a grit pot, half filled with oyster shell grit and a few pinches of seed. Rummaging through the grit will help clean its wattle.
