sapper756 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 While putting the birds through tonight for our first young bird race of the season, I experienced a lot of hassle with the ring sensor reading the rings, a lot of rings had to be scanned 2 or 3 times before they eventually registered, this happened every 3 or 4 birds. I have known this to happen on the occasional bird, but not as much as did tonight. Anybody experienced this before? or any idea what might have caused this?
JADE Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Were there any loose rings or another clock near the sensor. This can sometimes cause a problem
sapper756 Posted August 5, 2011 Author Report Posted August 5, 2011 Were there any loose rings or another clock near the sensor. This can sometimes cause a problem no m8, even moved the sensor as far away as possible from the base station, but did not make any differencehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif also disconnected all the cables and reconnected them again, still had problemshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0126-nerd.gif

david.j Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 i thought unicon was the best thing since sliced bread ,when ever someone comes onto the pigeon sites asking whats best ets ,they are barraged with the answer UNICON . i visit all the sites and am amazed by the problems thrown up by this best ets system, there is one in our club and it never runs smoothly any week ,the owner admitted to me he could happily smash it up at times if it hadnt been £600+ :emoticon-0136-giggle:
VAGIN Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 Could it not be anything do with the new rings
