ovy1255 Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 when i use my bricon on a unikon master system firstly i get the radio time signal for the unikon ringer as bricon will not work with manual set -also the unikon master must be disconnected from the ringer befor connecting the bricon and only use the univese lead supplied by bricon=on connecting the bricon should power up-is this happening?MARK PALMER the bricon rep willhelp if you give him a ring.

PIGEON_MAN Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 I've never had to disconnect the unikon ringer before connecting the bricon, i just connect the lead and bobs your uncleSame here no problems.

blue bar Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 What sort of printed does the unkion use as the bricon one needs a dos capable one
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 What sort of printed does the unkion use as the bricon one needs a dos capable oneWe use the same printer on both systems OKI 2400.
almeehan Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 not sure wat type ill find outPrinter is not the problem unless it is faulty. If a printer works on the unikon it will work on any ets system, the requirements are the same. What message are you getting on the speedy clock when you try to mark? It should give a reason.
thomasd Posted August 8, 2011 Author Report Posted August 8, 2011 no reason just will not print when setting time on bricon it suppose to print a time set it just will not print ive set the time 30 times no joy
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 Probably a silly question but if you are using a radio controlled clock to set the time on the Bricon is the little mast showing in the left hand corner.
almeehan Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Think you need to provide more information. Are you using a really old printer? You need to come back with the exact make and model. You mention gps, are you using the bricon clubmaster with the speedy or are you marking bricon through the unikon club system? It sounds like an old incompatible printer but need the information to confirm.
