Guest Gareth Rankin Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 It's in the 90's but each loft varies, perhaps it should be looked at their are 3 classification's = 2% Quality 18% Standard 80% Sh-te

Rocket Brain look in yer own Loft and tell us what % of gid Doos you have and when you last one a race or even got yer name on the major trophies apart from the Hot Water Pond Blawhames.
Guest bigda Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 looks like a good supply rate for percey, he will not starve then
budgie Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 looks like a good supply rate for percey, he will not starve then Danny that Gid Pigeon of yours that whipped the Coatbridge Boys in Wakefield (in your eyes) do you think she is in the Top 2%.Good luck this year and are you trying her at the First S.N.F.C inland National.
fletch Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 i think this is a good call for 98% rule but does differ from year to year, you only need to look at your own lofts and see how many birds you have over 3 years old when all the average birds are gone and left with the better ones
Roland Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 It's in the 90's but each loft varies, perhaps it should be looked at their are 3 classification's = 2% Quality 18% Standard 80% Sh-te I'd go alng with that, and certainly is the case with 'Mob feather sellers. I put it to one that of the 200 odd he sends, if any loft had 8% (8 winners in a 100) they do very well. He said, 'Brilliant, never mind well'! Now they race 200 and sell 190 lol. I wonder why. Why I often think one is better off without a 'Stock Loft' and every bird has to earn a perch, let alone a nest box. And after 4 years they have to go.... preferably to a new comer or a not so good flyer.
REDROCKET Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 Rocket Brain look in yer own Loft and tell us what % of gid Doos you have and when you last one a race or even got yer name on the major trophies apart from the Hot Water Pond Blawhames. dont have to be so direct andy i was only asking but i did check the results but just the first half dozen and we were in front of you in them all and that was blaw hames over coatbridge so you should of had first drop lol.see you on sunday
Guest IB Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Can't help thinking that if this 'rule' is true, then our breeding methods need looking at? After all, we produce them.
