Heard of a pigeon that won 4th open Rennes 6 days after Winning its fed Open race from around 380miles

Heard of a pigeon that won 4th open Rennes 6 days after Winning its fed Open race from around 380miles did it in i think,timed a2 yr old l/b hen on a fast race from maidstone sat before the tuesday basketing (we topped the fed with a yearling, maidstone)we timed her early sat morning and she was 30th section ??the race was won by les mackay of carnoustie from leige,delboy won the west section and was 5th open. ps the wee hen scored the next year from reims??? also sent an older hen the exact same and she was just out of race time 2/2 both at maidstone on the sat!!!!! :) we had a terrible toss on the sat with both main doos scuffed on wires that was the reason for the change. ;)

alec guinness Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 Must've been in good order going to the Maidstone race she homed about an hour after the fed topper and straight on to her eggs,dont know if i would do it again though :o had told two men at the marking about our entries preperation and they remarked that i would not see any of the hens again,both had large teams away and failed to clock you never no at the gold cup,good luck for the w/end lewis. :) :)
