reading reports on on races from tarbes etc that the belg , dutch and the Germans race against one another

 

could this be done with Scotland Wales England and Ireland

 

 

i suppose the obvious question would be where would the race point be

 

and would it be possible to organise

 

 

or am i in fairy land

I don't think you are in fairy land

I suppose France would be a start for a release point. Maybe the longest race could be from south of France.

It would be brilliant for such a race maybe from Groningen netherlands 337 miles to the heart of England 469 to glasgow 433 to cardiff 527 to dublin

 

Or Hamburg to get in the high 500's to 650 miles

Ask some of the older fanciers on here, they might be able to advise you as there used to be an Usher Vaulx race years ago which was open to a lot of the UK.

this type of racing for all uk was talked about before on here awhile back,,,,like most things,everyone talks about it,but,no one willing to see if can all be sorted,,,,,,,brilliant idea,but,fanciers are there own worse enemy,,,,,,talk a lot,but,very few willing to do anything about it !

Cant remember if it was open to the whole of the UK but the NANTES CENTENARY race comes to mind and what a disaster that was.
