JohnQuinn Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 As usual i was over the old Ravenscraig site with Max tonight, and he caught/killed/ate (after i skinned it) a wee rabbit
Guest bakes Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 cant beat a walk about with dog best of look with the lad all best.
JohnQuinn Posted May 22, 2011 Author Report Posted May 22, 2011 I could scarcely believe it when i seen him with it. He was sniffing around bushes at the bottom of a railway embankment nd his tail was wagging very slowly, sure sign there is something about, took my eyes off him for 2 secs and he had vanished. After 3 or 4 mins i crept down and he was about a penalty kick from where i last seen him and had the gut torn out the rabbit. My first thought was he found it but it was warm and the blood was still running when i gave him the lungs, heart, kidneys, and liver out of it, took him up the road because tonight of all nights i left my knife in the shed, skinned it and he ate the lot of it.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 Ahhhh, poor wee bunny wabbitt. Lol

JohnQuinn Posted May 23, 2011 Author Report Posted May 23, 2011 How old is he now John he's grown alot and changed colour since you first got him and put his pictures up He's not 6 months until June 2nd. His coat is changing colour slowly but i'm gonna get him a haircut which i think will leave him like a Grizzle, but long term i reckon he will take the Bedlington colour. Don't think he will get much bigger than he is just now, maybe another inch or 2 but i'm sure he will fill out a lot more.He really is doing well so far and by next year i'll have him just the way i want.
