have been looking through some of the member profiles and the trend is that there is very little information there, i think it would be good if i e: a propper name, area they are from, age, even what sex they are were on profiles, i in my opinion think it would be more helpfull if there was a little more info available,

I agree, been saying it for a long while

after clicking on my profile you then click edit my profile top right hand corner

 

which then gives you the option to fill in whats in the pic

 

i hope this helps i think it covers all off the above

yes i am aware of this,maybe some users arent aware but it would be nice if the members would fill them out more in depth, but members maybe dont want to,

What would we want to add more detail for ? Is it the case that the additional data would be put to some intended us - if so - what. You also have to realise that the more data deposited upon the site, the more interesting it becomes for hackers, spammers etc. etc..

 

I'm not against the proposal in principle - but nobody has posted a reason for the proposal. From other sites I have been spam-mailed on a variety of subjects including pigeon specific products - so the data needs to be kept absolutely secure.....just like Sony's !!
