Fair Play Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Do you think it will go to a pigeon man or is it another job for the boys
OLDYELLOW Posted April 22, 2011 Author Report Posted April 22, 2011 Do you think it will go to a pigeon man or is it another job for the boys I'd imagine one or two pigeon men / women would apply for the job but they do tend to look for the old boys clubs , few years in do nowt nice salary golden hand shake and sail off in to the sunset however I think the post might not give every weekend spare for racing so an ex racer or a racer with a partner be good Would love to be here saying David Bills has done a cracking job promoting our sport and stuff ................ , Also think some radical changes would be good , everything's done democratically at club and fed level shame the union weren't as well , be nice to see the panels made up of top fed officials and most things voted on , rather than the same old thing of paying union fees and nothing changes or improves
Roland Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Thought it was a waste of time and effort to have a manager for the 2 year span in the first place. Diplomacy is fine.... but we do need a leader and one ready to stand up and 'BE' for the sport... those paying his wages.
Fair Play Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Stuart Wilcox fancied the job last time don't know if he is still interested. Every member of the RPRA shoud get a voting slip with a statement of intent from each applicant saying how he or she would take the sport forward then it would be up to the rank and file to decide instead of the faceless ones with no disrespect to any that have one.
