I might be getting some latebreds at the end of the season m8! I think I might be alright if I get the other 5 moved across and the other 8 hatch there's 20 so and by that time I could have a could have a couple more pairs down or on there second round. Can ye take 3 rounds from your ob a don't plan on racing them

still time to get more youngbirds from your breeders

if you do get 16 or even 20 y/bs to race i would split your team

and send 1/2 each week

they only need a couple of races then you can put them by for next year

as to any other y/bs i would keep them seperate, and heavy train them

ive worked 2 teams the last few years and my unraced team have done aswell as the raced ones as yearlings

We have a team of 30 young birds this year for racing and hope to go to the young bird national for the first time. We have appox 12 old birds for racing this year but we believe them to be quality and we are hopeful of a good season in both old and young bird seasons. Building our teams has been a long slow process but if you have patience you will get there.

Good luck to all racing tomorrow. Look out for a B/CH hen blazing a trail home to Cumbernauld in the skies above your loft tomorrow :-)
