Obviously as the season goes on it gets a bit easier but with the first race often being on the unpredictable side how do you do it??

Pick an old favourite??

Do you shut your eyes and have a stab at yer sheet with a pen??

Do you pay a lot of attention as to how birds are coming from training??and what do you look for round the loft??

We have had ours picked out for 2 weeks now....... Yearling blue. Cock down from "Zidane" that we bought from Mrs & Mrs C Little.... Showing all great signs from training too

normally do a 2 bird nomination in the club

both birds picked are tried and tested birds for the 1st few races

unless a yearling starts to show every week then may change

Best of luck :)

I'll stick with cock I pooled near enough every race last season :D

Him and his nestmate were rarely out of the first first five home to the loft last season.Got another two brothers and a sister in the race team this year so hope they can make picking a pooler even harder

I'm the worst Nom picker in the Fed, so you'll no be want to know how i pick it, as its no working

Aye I cannae pick ma nose  We've a secret weapon though-one of my old clubmates watches our doos on a Saturday,he does a better job at picking the poolers spending a couple of hours at the hut on a raceday than I do all spending all week wi them  Hes teaching me his ways though
