kraftykev Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 When you are feeding stock birds that are rearing young do you keep the food down all the time or do you feed a few times a day and then remove it. the reason being is that for some reason this year my birds have become really picky on what they eat and seem to through the seed that they dont want all over the floor. cheers kev
ALF Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 MINE GET A GOOD FEED OF 1/3 LAYER PELLETS 1/3 BEANS 1/3 BARLEY AND AFTER THAT I FILL THE HOPPERS WITH MIXTURE AND CHANGE THE GRIT AND DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS PS....Y/B'S IN THE NEST LOOK GREAT JUST NOW
geordie1234 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 I was noticing that my doos were being picky and not eating the brown beans(not sure what the real name is) so i just went a we tad lighter on the grub and its noo all getting eaten and none fired out the pot in the nestbox and getting covered in poo
