showman Posted May 10, 2011 Author Report Posted May 10, 2011 Well, it's been just over 9 weeks now since Mum went into hospital.She had her hip operation, and then 8 days later she had a major operation on her bowel, so 2 operations within such a short space of time knocked her back quite a bit,and it was all a bit touch and go for a while but with great care by doctors and nursing staff...............SHE's HOME !!!!!!!Came home to-day at about 3.00pmAm I chuffed or what My sincerest thanks to you all for your comments, the support you gave me was humbly received.Thank you all.Paul

Guest strapper Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 i lost my mother very sudden last september..the doctors didnt know she had cancer and she died within 24hrs of them finding out...to say i was shocked is a massive understatement. hope your mother gets a speedy recovery
