Guest C Visser Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 I finally tried to break my birds today after letting them rare young birds and where sitting on eggs again. I just let out 7 cocks and they are still sitting up at the old house. They flew over a few times, but never looked at th lofts. You can almost throw a stone to the old house. I just hope that hunger will get the better of them and they mite come back tomorrow. Should i let there hens out, or will that make it worst. Thanks
billt Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Don't let the hens out, I'm sure the cocks will come being that close to the old home
big blue bar Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 what about your y/ birds ? get them out on the loft it might take them down seeing birds on the loft
pjc Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 If you can see your old house you have left it to long before trying to break them!Would have been better to have done it a couple of weeks after moving or sooner if you moved the loft and kept them hungry. You can't keep the birds hungry if feeding young!
