pigeonman007 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Have joined up to the above and just wondering if it is possible to contact the seller of the bird before or after you have bought or if you have to deal through Elimar all the time? Cheers Craig
retired Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 It is Craig there is a send email to seller facility. I dont ask questions anymore as i am pretty sure a copy of the email also goes to Les Parkinson which i dont agree with.

Roland Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Could one stop it? Let alone police or enforce it if it is?

Guest slugmonkey Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 It is probably in the terms of use agreement and since it is privately operated you probably cant stop it
OLDYELLOW Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 has everyone seen the birds been listed online for an open ofline auction ? this surely is illegal as the online winner doesnt win the bird its offered at open auction at the internet price , just inflating the price to sell . Well it is rip off britain , a fool and his money are easily parted.

Well it is rip off britain , a fool and his money are easily parted. I don't see a problem with it, if you can't make the live auction it is a good thing. It's no different than making a bid over the phone telling the auctioneer how much you will go to.
OLDYELLOW Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 i personaly think the fairer way to do such an auction would to be list all birds photos online and use a laptop at the actual auction and enter bids via the laptop from the actual auction room
pjc Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 better still Oldyellow, have telephone bidding from interested parties!
OLDYELLOW Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 or even better webcam in auction room so can see if biding of the wall against yourself , it does happen
pjc Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 prob using anything computer based is speed of connection if there is broadband etc available.
