its clearly not and are dealt with just copy and paste the pm and forward to a moderator in these instances and they are dealt with in a very sympathetic way

Agree this post says it all. I think some on here get picked on for being honest but true to thier cause. It seems the more open one is, the more one is open to abuse. I love the banter ( long live the banter ) some folks don't get it, shame, coz it bonds the ones who do. We are all on here for one reason only PIGEONS. Let's not forget the auld yins who made this sport / hobby. BANTER was a way of life coz let's face it life was hard. So I believe banter is in ones genes just like the doos. Some have it and some don't. So for the dont's PLEASE don't spoil it for the working man as after all the working man makes the world go round. Yes I think the MODS have it tough but sometimes they can make it tougher. One thing for sure, this IS the best pigeon forum on the globe.

There is people that have been suspended / barred for that Superstar. Forward it to Richard if you are being threatened / initimidated mate, you should not have to put up with that.

Done that days ago when it happened and still nothing. Asked about it, told been too busy, asked the following night, please forward PM's which is strange as they were on my original complait and they had that to know what I was on about in the first place. By the way I wont be dropping it no matter how long it takes. You take this moderating so seriously then act upon something serious

Aye, I have had a few of them but I will deal with them personally when the time comes. I personally never report anyone to admin I would rather deal with it myself either on the boards if that is where it started or in a PM if they haven't the spine to post their crap openly or in person which I much prefer as it is natural as you get a true feeling of what they are like :-/

well you can forward the pms to any moderator im off to bed right now Alfs willing to take it and pass on to Richard you can also send to me and ill make sure richard sees to it myself and i assure you it will be done in strict confidence and not discussed to any other members on the forum no member should be threatening anyone on this site

Bart.....surely the light hearted banter is nothing compared to the idiots who use abusive language and deliberately set out to disrupt a thread and get away with it.You are missing the point. thats why a mod can come in and say in his opinion i will move that in case it gets out of order

so i would keep it the way it is of course the mods wont be right all the time

Maybe time for naming names, but I know Dunc will not as he is an honourable man and will no doubt see to it himself, hopefully. These people are not worth the trouble to be honest as they hide behind a keyboard and would not think of saying what they say, face to face. No moderator can control this.

I will deal with that matter myself, it was a threat that in as much as he was going to do a few things to me if I continued the way I was going, well I am still here and acting as normal so we will wait and see if he is just barking or prepared to take a bite 8)

where mods can step in and take a post out just to keep a good thread going surely you agree

dovescot has already stated about banter that caused the webmaster to step in with a new set of rules and ban any  banter a year or so ago

because it got out of hand

maybe swapping the mods around a bit might let people see the other side
