greenlands Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 I done a clean up on my comp.When I go onto any site that I have to sign in to internet explorer doesn't ask me if I want the computer to remember what I've entered.The computer remembers my user name but not my password.Anyone got any ideas.Lindsay C

Joe90 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 on your desktop shortcut right click the explorer icon. click properties click the content tab at the top go to auto complete settings ensure prompt me to save passwords is ticked hope this helps

Joe90 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 saving passwords is not a problem, if a hacker wants the info hell use a key logger to record everything you type, just have a good firewall. i am on vista as well it makes no differance as its explorer that you need to configure, i am using the latest explorer the tabbed version,
