ALF Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 I WAS ON THE PHONE TO A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE THE OTHER NIGHT AND HE POINTED OUT THE FACT THAT FALLAHILL SUPERSTAR HAD EXACTLY THE SAME VELOCITY AS JOCK DUTHIE'S REIMS WINNER LAST SEASON 2 VERY GOOD WINNERS
hawked again Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 I had a red chequer hen stray in last week and reported it to the owner who was very keen to have her back so she was box up and away with the SPDS on Tuesday. The owner was a right nice guy from West Lothian and is still excited about Fallahill Superstar. He won the National with him in 85 I think he said. He said that he had given up racing for a while but had kept some of the birds and was now back racing with his Grandson. Eddie phoned again on Wednesday to say the bird was home safe and in good nick and if I put a ring down to him early next year he would put it on a youngster for me from the bird I returned, which was a Granddaughter or Great Grand Daughter of the said Fallahill Superstar. Like a lot of you have said, he's a really nice guy, a gent.
