ALF Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM I HAVE 60 FT OF LOFTS AND AND 2 SHEDS 1 8X6 AND A 7X5 AND I ONLY HAVE APPROX 40-45 PIGEONS INCLUDING STOCK BUT NOT INCLUDING MY WEE OTHER SPECIAL TEAM OF 10 FOR ANOTHER PURPOSE

Guest spin cycle Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 you all seem to have a big lofts with section apart from me i feel lonly haha good to start small...i broke my novice to a 6x4shed alot of us go mad building more lofts/sections...getting more pigeons... then wish we had fewer sections and pigeons enjoy starting up and don't worry about it

Thanks again, Steve Yes it was some loft and it was spotless thru out 80 ets pads under the floor for birds trapping it linked to a screen in the beer tent so you could see what time birds arrived Would hate to scrape it out would be there for weeks. l.o.l.As i said great weekend Free beer. Free food.couldnt fault it Hope to have another go this year depends on the funds Maybe some the guys and girls on here would consider a little syndicate to enter birds

Guest big slim Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 1 20 foot loft 8 feet for ybs , 8 feet for roundabout cocks, 4 feet for hens, small aviary on end for non racing widowhood hens. We have an 8 by 6 loft for 12 widowhood cocks. We have a small hut with 4 stock pairs.
