at first i thought the bird was dead before it started to strip it but obviously not,noticed it had some sort of ring on it's leg sickening to see this

The attack seems to have begun around 8:40 into the video, which before that had been shots of the peregrine flying very high, then it appeared to me to dive suddenly to ground level?

 

So was this pigeon released for this footage? Where had pigeon been for the previous 8 minutes? I don't see a pigeon attempting a take-off with a peregrine flying high over the same area for that length of time..

 

Also shows as lies 'that the prey's back is broken on impact / the prey is decapitated' (so killing the bird).

my problem is that its bagged game the pigeon does not know the grounds it being let up on does not know where safety is its just straight up out of a bag and the falcon is on it the pigeon never had a chance

I thought there was a way on youtube to report unsuitable stuff. I agree with what you say, but the rub is that the video is up under the caption 'my peregrine is hunting a pigeon'. That isn't a hunt that is shown, that's just 'cornered' prey put into a killing ground from which it has no hope of escape, much same way as people being fed to lions in Roman Arena. And some numpty filmed it, not as evidence, but for others 'entertainment'.

the problem is ib that this is not illegal in some countries to use bagged game im not sure about Greece

 

i do know in america and the Arabs do this on a regular bases there loads of videos of the Arabs doing it must not be illegal there videos of them hunting duck in the desert

its against the law for anyone to use bagged quary ie releasing live prey to serve any kind of hunter,this guy is not a sportsman of any kind just scum,anyone who knows him should report him to the police so he can be served before the courts.
