Yep Christmas day was my dad's date of birth 1910.

Couldn't fly a kite. But was a happy chappie with his pigeons.

My late mothers today 1920,she probably knew more about pigeons than me if the truth was known,the old fella's birthday was bonfire day 1913,they were married on 2nd Sept 1939,mam use to say that's what started the 2nd world war

Strange thing dates my mother passed away 18 years ago on Moffat show day aged 74

And my father passed away 4 years ago on Moffat gala day aged 92

Think they were making sure i would not forget them ,as if i would

Treasure them when you still have them
