see when racing through the season with your natural doos do they constantly need to have something in the nest

getting to race all our most of your race team on a Saturday.

you can have your birds on open bowl through the day.

plus all your birds get to fly free any day you won,t no need to keep any in most of their lives. OMO

Hens laying is probs the biggest reason I gan for the widowhood. The motivation of the correct nest is clealy a very potent weapon but the ease of widowhood(homemade) is a big draw for the working fancier as regards road work and conditioning.

If you want to learn then natural will tell you a lot about the pigeons behaviour during racing and breeding. I would think that 99% of the fanciers on here would have started wae some kind of natural system. If you want to compete from sprint/middle races then widowhood(IMO) is the way to go bad as yer only startin then will you be expectin tae be at the front straight off? On the other hand, if yer like me , the competitive urge will mean you will be tryin!!

The widow system must be followed religiously ie. Routine of exercise, feeding correct, hens kept content without laying or pairing and condition time watched closely.
