They have changed their booking policy and would not let me do a provisional one for all of us so we were forced to move :angry: :angry:

we are staying at the Big Blue,we have found it to be better than the Hilton on all counts,we got a great deal plus the Hilton now rip you off with daily parking charges.

Have stayed at the Blackpool Hilton and have to say that it was really poor,complete rip off.Stayed many times at the Couylum Bridge Hilton Aviemore and cant praise the place highly enough,pity blackpool cannot match their high standards.

Some years ago I would just book at random and I ended up with some awful places. In one they had a big hairy German Sheperd Dog wandering everywhere including the dining room. His head was at the same height as the tables and he would go around sniffing to see what food on the tables. There was hair everywhere. Filthy Sods.

There is no way I will stay at some of those down at heal excuses for hotels any more. My wife and I stayed at the Big Blue the last time we went. It is a bit removed from the centre but it is a nice clean roomy place and the food is really good. No more cramped showers and door locks that are falling off, thankyou.

The Sheraton for us, We stopped their for the first time last year and found it to be 1st class :-).....lovely hotel especially if yur taking the missus.
