Jose Mourinho admits he would love to bring Wayne Rooney to Real Madrid, but expects the unsettled forward to stay at Manchester United.

Rooney is a Class act on any field of play, ask the guys who play with him and every single one of them would agree he is VERY special,

Well you have obviously never seen him play for England ... ;)

Come to that niether has anyone else. :(

U.S! Total rubbish. He hasn't the brain or the realism. Great when a team is moulded around him etc. - World Class then- But to be able to adapt, to read a game, well his better off staying in Cockoo Land.

Man U. would no doubt miss him - if he goes because they won't raise his £160.000 per week to £200,000 per week.

But most Englishmen would perfer him playing for the opposition every game at International level. Useless then John!

Mind being a Scot I have no doubt you don't watch any international level of football! B):D So haven't seen him mis kick, get needlessly sent of, cost us a Eroupean place by giving away a needless an senseless penalty.

The only time he runs after an opposition player is because he has got mad they aren't reading from his script and intends to foul, which he does and gives away more advantage. Great ability, a spoilt and selfish brat.

As for Colleen, well send her down here, I could do a better job than him ... She'd still get a good allowance, and the bonus of a good seeing too lol :P:P:D:D

Wayne Rooney has revealed his reasons behind him wanting to leave Manchester United insisting it is not down to money but ambition.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed on Tuesday that Rooneyhttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif wanted to leave the club, and admitted his disappointment and disbelief.

Ferguson insisted he did not know the reasons behind Rooney's decision to shun a new contract at Old Trafford and instead look for a move away.

But now Rooney - who has just 18-months left on his current deal, has released a statement outlining his decision to seek a move away from United.

Rooney has been quick to deny that any moves away from the club would be financially motivated, insisting that the club's lack of investment in their squad is the primary factor.

"I met with David Gill [united chief executive] last week and he did not give me any of the assurances I was seeking about the future squad," Rooney confirms.

"I then told him that I would not be signing a new contract."
