No More Painting Loft Front

just finished cladding loft front in upvc tongue & groove ,no more paintbrushes

just need 4 big vents to go in bottom of each section and jobs a goodun

Looks very nice but would be no good for me in the summer , too bright with the sun on it would do me eyes no good , bad enough keeping an eye out on race day without being unable to look at the loft JMO

U.P.V.C comes in alot of other colours other than white so the colour is down to choice

how much does it cost per strip dave and size it comes in as wouldnt mind doing mine in the stuff does it just fit together like tongue and groove i am going down woodyard later on to pick a few ply sheets up i have a look but dowt there be non down there will have to pop to b & q see if they do the stuff you recommend and place that sells the stuff

i scrounged some off a mate that works for safestyle windows, i used it to lay inside some canary breeding boxes i built ,they use it as soffet boards

the ones i had were 12" wide and came in 8 foot long lenths, i asked him for some more but he couldn,t get the amount i needed but he said to me to ring any upvc window manufacture up because they sell of cheap the ones that come off the line scratched.

i no a lad that works for double glazed firm fits windows and puts up conservatrys see if he got owt in the yard i can have all the best.

thats right chris they are soffit boards the ones i bought were 5m long and 30cm wide each one of these boards has 3 strips in one solid board i paid just under 8 quid for a 5m length and about 3.50 for a 5m edging strip

Many thanks lads - super idea and just what I need for my leaky loft front - can't seem to get the old windows sealed properly so I'm going to have a go off this stuff I think.
