john@formula 1 lofts Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 so i have started a new post maybe a mod can move thiss accross at some point. maybe we should bred a few more from her next year 94832 what a hen this Caudwell SVR is we brought her as a latebred in 2005 from Mark Caudwell, and paired her late in the year in 2006 getting 2 cocks from her. These two cocks have won many top prizes between them before Ch 53 was killed at the start of the 2009 season. He won as a yearling and 2year old 3x1sts 5x2nds and 11 other cards in the Open in Leigh-on-sea his nestmate also scored many cards. Ch53 also bred John cowlin 1st y/b in last season (2009) y/b national and she was his 3rd pigeon as a yearling this year(2010) were she finished 11th open being beat by 2 of her aunties. In 2007 this super hen was paired to a different cock and again only two y/b’s were bred to race from her these two also have many cards and were John Cowlin first two in this year NFC old hens National the first 1 is 6th open and the 2nd one is 9th open. Previously these 2 hens have won 16th, 66th and 97th open NFC In 2008 again to a different cock only 2 were bred to race one of which has become John Cowlin current best sprint widow cock he has won 5x1sts and over 20 top positions sprint flying. In 2009 she was paired back to her original cock 3 y/b’s were taken from this hen for Racing 1 for John Cowlin and 2 for me. I lost one of mine early doors as they were very late in fact I did not wean them until I was already training so they had to play catch up very quickly the other cock only had a couple of races at the end of the season but this year he has been super cock winning the following 3rd club 5th sec & 5th Open 875 birds6th club 23rd sec 27th open 1,208 birds1st club 1st sec & 1st Open 1,125 birds4th club 4th sec & 4th Open 1,091 birds1st club 4th sec 9th open 826 birds1st club 3rd Sec & 3rd Open 654 birds1st club 3rd sec & 19th open 719 birds+ other cards. So from 9 children we have bred to race and 2 g.children we have raced from this SVR hen she is responsible for at least 14x1st and over 70 cards including 6th,9th,11th 16th, 66th & 97th open NFC

Top notch doos.steven i bred off these birds last year but with them being into a new envoirement they didn't settle as i would have liked so youngsters off them were not the requirement i would have liked (not as many as iwould have liked, qaulity of the youngsters i did get could not be faulted)this year breeding was a different story so looking forward to racing these birds next year,in fact iwas on the phone to my auld man today when i had them them out and i commented to him how impressed i was with the way they were shaping up,time will tell and i'll keep you's posted
