Ian McKay Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Pigeon Basics Charity Auction Bank Account As you may know this account has taken 3 months to get opened and some members tried hard to stir things up believing it was my fault even though it was explained in full by others. The object of ADMIN agreeing to the opening of this account was to alleviate what has happened in the past and to be able to prove how much is taken in and to whom and when it is paid out. This will also help us keep records about how much we give to charities. I had complained on a regular basis to Royal Bank of Scotland and made many visits and 'phone calls to the bank and quite frankly have been disappointed with the response. You would not believe the catalogue of errors but that aside I am glad to report the bank have upheld my complaint and offered me a settlement of £150 which I have accepted and asked for it to be deposited into the Charity Fund which has now been done. I have attached the print out received yesterday to show the entry as an Inter-Branch Payment dated 10 September 2010 I hope this explains the hold up in getting the account started.
