FoxesFan4Ever
Hi All, Ok, so I am looking to put a few nest boxes in this "loft" I got. Just temporary ones until I get my new loft in a few weeks when I will build some proper stable ones. I saw a post on here about using some Wilko's crates but I am confused (doesn't take much) What crates are we talking about here..is there any possibility some1 could post a picture as the only crates I've seen in there don't remotely resemble nest boxes. Thanks all

Peckedhen
I put four of these up in my loft. The birds didnt take to them at all. I put some crisp boxes down and they were all claimed straight away. :-/ Scraping them wasn't easy so I gave up - the birds reared beautifully and when they weaned, I just threw the boxes away. pjc
they like crisp boxes and often put them inside the stock nest boxes, the birds are far more settled in a darkened box and when yb's are weaned burn the box and put a clean one in.
