Guest Owen Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 My pads are inside plywood sandwiches. They have worked for the last 4 years without a problem. My problem is getting the birds home quickly enough to make them count. :) ;D
red schalie Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 There should be no metal above or below the pad within 10 inches ideally an odd screw or nail wont matter. It sometimes takes a long while but eventually after leaving the pads switched on for a while the pads do sometimes stop clocking birds if there is to much metal near to the pad.
