I consider myself one of the lucky ones,looking at the weather last night and reports this mo.I thought the lofts would be to dry out.Only one damp patch where the wind had blown rain through the louvre on the door.All looks well,how did you lads North of the border fair ,some pile of floods on the TV. early on.Was it has bad further South.

mine was bad yesterday morning one 09 dead but could of happened in the night due to fireworks going off close by

       If I get a minute later on I'll take a couple of photo's of my lofts to show you where I put silicon sealer to stop water getting in also some corner plates to stop water getting in at the back corners.

looks like im going to be refelting my lofts again some how the water has found its way in .

Just a suggestion rock but why dont you invest in some corrugate sheets bit expensive but the amount of times you have to refelt over the years its gotta be worth considering.

Did all that earlier in the year - ours was wet wet wet

thanks for that lindsay..were did you get the tin sheets from? cheers mark..

 

Nicked them out of next doors garden,any of the firms that supply roofing sheets should have them,they are the end covers.

Hi Peter,the front of lofts are varnished the backs and sides are painted.
