I have just researched to double check and you are meant to say in the thread weather you want an item on the thread not via pm... If somthing is for sale and u set up a thread surly every1 uses the thread.. Im not fanstaic on computers but i always make sure i do it via the threads... I just feel this was unfair as i was the first person on the thread to say that i would take the clock... P.M are like cheating...

PJM i understand what your saying that the seller chooses who 2 sell to but to be honest if i was selling somthing and some1 pm's me id say they need to put it in the thread as this is where it is being sold NOT VIA PMs... Buyers Guidelines

 

 

Buying on the site

 

Anyone wishing to purchase birds or equipment from Gold members on Pigeonbasics can do so by the following means -

 

- Making a sensible offer on the thread

 

- Meeting the asking price asked by the vendor

 

- Discussing and coming to agreement on an offer via the site PM function

 

- Bidding in auction where applicable

 

The seller will specify which of the above selling terms he is applying.

 

Disruption on any thread and discussion moving away from the original topic will be removed without prior notice.

 

Failure to honour an agreement

 

Should a buyer agree a sale and then not follow it through with out a valid reason they may have their right to buy on Pigeonbasics.com withdrawn and be banned from the site selling boards.

 

Buyers and sellers alike should endeavour to save any relevant private messages until the sale is concluded.

 

Any issues between buyer and seller if not concluded amicably can be taken to the site admin for review.

 

How to sell on Pigeon Basics

 

Pigeonbasics will now operate with a Gold Membership for people wishing to sell on the site.

 

Selling Options

 

1. A one off payment of £25.00 for One year's gold membership to the site - This entitles you to up to 12 selling adverts on the site in this period.

 

2. For those wishing to just sell the odd item the cost is £7.50 per advert up to £150 in value and an additional 10% after this threshold.

 

How to Pay

 

Payment for gold membership or one off payments can be made by the following methods -

 

- Paypal to pigeonbasics@live.co.uk - An invoice can be sent on request.

 

- Cheque or postal order made payable to Pigeonbasics.com - Please contact Fifer or Vallance for postal address.

 

Selling Rules and conditions

 

- Gold members are not permitted to sell Items on behalf of another member (or non member) unless pre-approved by Admin. This includes adverts for forthcoming auctions whether public or online.

 

- Items placed for sale on the boards by anyone other than gold members will be removed without notice.

 

- Any thread the Admin or Moderators deem to be advertising will be removed without notice - This includes third party ads.

 

- We expect you to conduct yourself with honesty and integrity at all times, and with every interaction with other members that you make.

 

- After posting items for sale you are expected to check your topic and/or PMs regularly to deal with enquiries, if you suspect you will be offline list a telephone number for your items.

 

- Non Gold Members known to be selling via the Private Message function will have their PM facility removed.

 

Additional Information we require from you

 

We require further information to process your application to become a gold member on Pigeon basics - This information is -

 

•Your Full Name

 

•Flying/Member Name

 

•Full Address

 

•Telephone number (and mobile if available)

 

•Email address

 

•Loft number (or other union information if applicable)

 

All information will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act - we reserve the right to release the information in exceptional circumstances to the relevant authorities or to a buyer in the case of an unresolved dispute.

 

Buyers and Sellers are responsible for there own selling and buying on Pigeonbasics.com - We do however reserve the right to withdraw gold membership for poor selling conduct.

totally agree with above if you wanted it you get in there strait away if you hesitate you loose.
