Mark E Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 Have this garage, Have space inside for a loft, but was thinking of taking out the window and extending out for a landing platform, and then incorparating the loft behind the window. What do you guys and girls think ? Only planning on getting 2 birds to start with.
Guest homestead Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 You could have a very nice set up there and secure, what do the neighbours think??
kirky Posted July 18, 2010 Report Posted July 18, 2010 I kept mine in half my garage onece worked fine just take window out and put a sputnik trap on the front, you could have a 6x8 foot section,
Mark E Posted July 18, 2010 Author Report Posted July 18, 2010 Neighbours one side dont mind, he had 40 pigeons himself years ago, havent asked the other side yet. Cant see it being a problem though

Cant see it being a problem though as the garage has always been there should be ok but dont leave birds out during the day might upset them, stick to having them out morning and night.

PIGEON_MAN Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 Couple of lads in our club used their garage and raced very well to it but they had trouble to start with because of the concrete floor, they made a wooden floor inside it which did the trick.

Wiley Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 lead to believe a concrete floor holds the damp, but dont quote me though
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES A CONCRETE FLOOR MAKE,NOT TJHAT IVE GOT ONE JUST BEEN NOSEY MATE ?? Not sure I know they have far better results when they made a wooden floor,I think it may have been something to do with the damp,I believe they also lined it out as well.
