My own opinion, u wont go far wrong with investing a few quid into some Ronnie williamson birds. If it is distance then add in a bit of Henry beattie blood...

I purchased a few birds of Mr Beattie a few yrs ago, and i clocked them out of turn from the channel...

im new to this game but would it not be better buying distance birds from the guys up in scotland who fly the furthiest

Yep, depends what bloodlines your after. Beatties birds are possibly the best birds (to fly 2 channels to win from france) in the world... I do agree thou, the lads in scvotland fly 550 plus is excellent performances yr after yr..

Ron, visit Gerald Delaney Dromore NI. He has a round of Ybs leaving the nest next week. If you wish i have his number. Top Willie Jacobs, Kris Van Massenhoven - Sprint champion. Cant go wrong. Also has the Grondalars (spelling) these go anywhere. Eamon
