sapper756 Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Here is hoping we get an exciting game tonight between Portugal and Spain. What will the score be? I predict Spain will win 3-1http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

just ask me Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 Portugal were very disappointing never even tried to score
Roland Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Seems that they never even bother to acknowleadge Ronaldo. Just the odd time he got onto the end of a ball... left him up there on his own and out of the way and ignored it seemed. Like France did with Henry in the Euro's. Many believed it cost them real dear that year too. But it does seem more and more that being a Prima donna is still as unacceptable today as it has always been. A 'Lord Big head' just being put up with, the more and more disliked till not allowed to play with the others regardless. Think some forget that their' 'Team mates' are also pretty good in their' own right. May or may not be true he was deliberately ignored, but he certainly needn't have bothered turning up. Pleased Spain won though. Their' passing was a joy to watch. Reminded me how they tore England to bits not so long back in a friendly.... thought then 'Glad this IS a friendly ...' lol
Roland Posted June 30, 2010 Report Posted June 30, 2010 Portugal were very disappointing never even tried to score then that would mean that they were hoping for a 'Penalty shoot out'. I don't think you mean that of course. But they were pathetic to say the least. It makes me wonder on that showing just how good Brazil are? After all they only drew, and couldn't score.... Yes niether wanted to lose granted, which may well have had some bearing on the way the game was played.
