geordie1234 Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 many times a day would yous have your ybs out i had mines out today about 1 till half 2 do you think i could give them another go
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Seeing as you've just got babies at the moment you could let them out a lot.Its when you've got older doos too let out or train it becomes a bit harder too juggle.I'm lucky where my loft is it's quite open and not got a lot of houses etc near.when the kamikaze season is finished I can have doos out all day. It'll be different for yourself mind you if you're lofts in a scheme
geordie1234 Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 Ah see what you mean mate because I only have young yeens a dnt need to bring them in to train the others I'm going to let them out tomorrow early about half seven then bring them in for there feed about 9.30
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Its like a lot things in doos-theres no right or wrong, many roads lead to Rome n all that. You'll make up your mind better once they're up n flying well.
geordie1234 Posted July 5, 2010 Author Report Posted July 5, 2010 a suppose mate some of my ybs still have the yellow nest feathers still on them should they even be flying yet
bluecock Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Ah see what you mean mate because I only have young yeens a dnt need to bring them in to train the others I'm going to let them out tomorrow early about half seven then bring them in for there feed about 9.30 patience m8 your trying to do this that and the other you'll end up going of yer head, just sit, watch and most of all listen, through time you'll look back and think what the hell did i get myself all harrased for, calm down your trying to take to much onboard.
Rooster J. Cogburn Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Nah if you've got Ybs of diiferent age groups obviously they'll not all be starting to fly at the same time. Its nothing to worry about though if your getting them out often without any hassle and used to going in and out the loft.If they are healthy they'll fly when they r ready You do occasionally get a walker mind you got a yearling pigeon here that gets called the "Tam Weir Cock" when all the other youngsters were ducking n diving he'd be enjoying a casual stroll in front of the loft.
