Now that the SNFC Eastbourne birds are due to spend their 4th night in the basket, which if any, will benefit from this, ie. birds that have been at last weeks comeback races, which are gaining a few more days rest before the race.

Widowhood cocks, will this affect them?

birds that may not have had too much body on them?

or any othershttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

The only benefits i see here is more money for the national as they are hoping for 100% RETURNS so it keps the birdage up for the next national races, birds dont come first money does

I think the doos sitting on yb's have a wee advantage, they won't lose motivation in the basket where widowhood/roundabout doos might, even them on eggs could lose interest. jmo.

very much doubt they have held them over for financial gain... if anything a 2 day holdover is costing the club money!, but the 'big picture' has got to be looked at here for the forthcomng channel races which i would expect a lot of candidtates are sitting at eastbourne right now!

There can be no advantage for either the birds or the club.

Ok the convoyers and drivers will make a few pounds.

Pigeons which have come from a progressive loft will take a step backwards as they will have reverted from a proper low protein diet to the more conventional and inappropriate diet used on our transporters.
